Clemens HlauschekGeneral Information I am a graduate student (Computational Intelligence) at the Vienna University of Technology. Currently, I work on my master's thesis at the University of California, Santa Barbara as Junior Research Specialist and Marshallplan scholarship holder. For my bachelor project, as well as during a couple of internships at the Secure Systems Lab in Vienna, I contributed to ANUBIS and added malware clustering to the system. I have been associated with the ESSE security group and the Research Industrial Systems Engineering GmbH. I am a member of the Metalab in Vienna. I am also studying Political Science at the University of Vienna. I love poetry, especially the writings of William Blake. I am a fan of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. My main research interest is focused around all different aspects of system security. I get fascinated by both low level (i.e., close to the hardware), as well as high level issues (e.g., algorithms, smart ways of problem solving) and the mathematical foundations of computer science, with a special interest in cryptography and artificial intelligence.
